
Starting this February, Alexander Winkler will be the new head of business development in North America, Europe, Asia & the Middle East.

Al Kamel Systems reinforces its expansion strategy by appointing Alexander Winkler as the new head of business development in North America, Europe, Asia and the Middle East. With his recruitment, the Spanish company aims to explore new markets, gain new clients and strengthen their relationship with current clients in these regions. “We are very happy to welcome Alexander to our team as head of business development in North America, Europe, Asia and the Middle East. Alexander has been in the motorsport industry since 2004. Being specialised in marketing and business development, he has worked closely during the last six years with manufactures and OEMs that have participated in first class motorsport championships. Alexander is very excited about this new professional challenge: “Working for a dynamic and versatile company like Al Kamel Systems means being in constant contact with state-of-the-art technology and managing continuously changing trends within the professional sport industry. It is an honour to be part of such a vibrant team and I hope to contribute to its ongoing growth.” His new appointment follows the recruitment of José Antonio Ortega last month as head of business development in Spain, Portugal, Andorra and Latin America. In both cases, their main task is to meet the needs of current and potential clients as well as to become their first point of contact at Al Kamel Systems. “Our team is fully committed to providing the best in-house solutions. This should always be our differentiating feature,” states Mr. Winkler. Al Kamel Systems is responsible for the timekeeping, TV graphics and IT services in competitions such as FIA WEC, 24 Hours of Le Mans, ABB FIA Formula E, European Le Mans Series and Ferrari Challenge Europe. It also provides coverage to competitions organised by IMSA in the United States, where 24 Hours of Daytona specially stands out. At the same time, the company also works with Peter Auto as well as Barcelona-Catalunya, Spa-Francorchamps, Losail and Sokol circuits, among others. |
